Axed Root is a local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA); a group dedicated to researching and recreating the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. We have a variety of activities for newcomers to become involved with right away, from armored combat to clothing and cooking to camping. The list is nearly endless, so you are sure to find something which interests you in some way.

We have a variety of resources to help out all of our members, including newcomers! Please feel free to contact any of our officers or find us on Facebook . Our meetings are a great place to get first-hand accounts of the different activities available in the SCA, so we hope to see you at a meeting sometime.
